An Internet download manager

DDA Internet Download Manager allows you to view Internet websites and download files from them. However, even though its web browser function is pretty bad, its installed downloader is faster than other web browser downloaders.

Download Internet files a little faster

DDA Internet Download Manager is similar to most download managers in that they hog your CPU and Internet connection in order to download things a little more quickly. Not only do they hog your CPU power and Internet connection, but they also download files in fragments and knit them together later. In essence, this makes downloaders such as this one a little-to-a-lot faster than the download managers that come pre-installed within your web browsers.

Segmented file fragments are knitted together

DDA Internet Download Manager allows you to download three files at the same time and downloads in as many as nine fragments at a time, which allows for faster downloading. The sad part is that the program gives itself default permission to access any parts of your device that the developers see fit, and few people are aware that mobile apps are allowed to do this. Other than this security concern, the downloader offers fast downloads even with older 3G networks.

PROS

  • Download three files at the same time
  • Separates downloads into as many as 9 fragments
  • Hogs your CPU and Internet connection for priority downloading
  • Faster than mobile web browsers

CONS

  • It offers a very poor quality web browser function
  • Promotional images claim it is free when it is not
  • Gives itself access to any part of your phone without asking
  • Its anti-spam/anti-notification function is laughably weak
